She came to us very pregnant and uncertain, and an X-ray showed she was carrying four puppies. From the moment they arrived, Macy showed the world what kind of dog she is — an exceptional mama. She dotes on her babies, plays with them, watches over them carefully, and makes sure they are always safe and loved. Macy has an intensity to her affection that is impossible to miss. She will look at you with big, open, soulful eyes — the kind that seem to ask for love while offering all of hers in return. There’s a tenderness about her that tells us she likely didn’t have an easy life, and being abandoned while pregnant only reinforces that. And yet… she still trusts. She still loves. She still opens her heart to people. That kind of resilience speaks volumes about Macy’s beautiful spirit. She is sweet, gentle, affectionate, and deeply loyal. Macy will thrive in a home where she can finally be someone’s priority — where her love can be returned in full. There is going to be a very lucky person or family who opens their heart and home to this remarkable girl. If Macy’s eyes — or her story — have caught your attention, she is waiting for you.
