Story
Hi My Name is Shepard! My current family took me in 2 years ago when I had no place else to go. They have given me love, safety, health care, friends, family in addition to a good home. My family recently welcomed a baby into the home which makes me fearful, as I do much better with adults and friendly dogs. I also can be fearful when lots of people are around because I worry they don't see me when they walk past me. I love homes that are calm and with adults who like to go for walks outside and don't mind my company around the house.

Story
Hello! Like many dogs in NC, I am currently heartworm positive. OCAS will be helping by beginning my treatment but you`ll need to follow up with your veterinarian! During treatment I will be on an oral medication and will need to get a topical solution monthly until I have a Negative Heartworm Test. If you have any questions about this please ask to speak with a member of the medical staff. My name is Soup and I came in with my good friend, *Crackers. Staff have noticed that we make a great team together! We feel more comfortable being with each other vs. being apart and we give each other confidence and support when either of us need it. Would you have enough room in your home for both of us? We would love to live out our lives together with a new forever family! If you have questions about me, please ask to speak with staff.I am currently available in my foster home. If you are interested in meeting with me, please fill out an interest form https://airtable.com/shrWv1TWfsw834pBd
