Story
Winchester (AKA Winnie) is a rescue from the Enid, OK SPCA. She was born Feb ‘16 and has been with us since April of 2016. House trained and has phenomenal recall, even off leash/lead. Grew up with 2 other dogs in the family and have never had any issues with aggressive behavior. Kennel trained but had a history of separation anxiety (no issues in the last 2 years). We just had our 2nd little one and Winnie has unfortunately had a tough time adjusting to less and less attention. She wants nothing but snuggles on the couch and the occasional walk. While we’re on top of the walks, we aren’t comfortable with her roaming the house like she did pre-kiddo’s and she spends most of her time on her bed or in her kennel. We have struggled with the thought of giving her up before, but could never bring ourselves to do it. For her happiness and ours, we have finally made the decision to try and find her a new home where she can receive the love she wants and deserves.
