Story
🐾 Meet Peppy! 🐾 Affectionately known by staff as Pepe Le Meatball. 😂❤️ Peppy is a sweet Beagle who came to us after his owner’s health continued to decline and they were no longer able to care for him. Now, Peppy has started a new chapter in his life — which includes a bit of a weight-loss journey! At 61 pounds, there is currently a little more Peppy to love than there should be. That’s a lot of Beagle! 😂 His future family will need to be committed to helping our little meatball continue working toward a healthier weight. Personality-wise, Peppy is exactly what you’d expect from a Beagle: the nose knows. 👃🐶 Once he catches a good smell, everything else becomes significantly less important. Because of that, he could use a refresher on some of his basic commands and manners. But underneath all that extra meatball is an incredibly sweet boy who is ready for a fresh start. ❤️ Peppy is looking for a family who will love him, keep him moving, help him continue his weight-loss journey, and understand that sometimes a Beagle’s ears are merely decorative when his nose is busy. 😂 Come meet Peppy — aka Pepe Le Meatball! 🐾

Story
Bailey is a 5-year-old Beagle with a sweet personality and quite the travel history! This handsome guy came to us as a stray, and while we were able to piece together a little of his past, we unfortunately weren't able to locate his owner. 🎂 Age: 5 years old 🐕 Breed: Beagle 💗 Personality: Very sweet & friendly 🐶 Other Dogs: Seems to enjoy their company! ⚖️ Weight: Carrying a few extra pounds 😂 📍 Travel History: Missouri ➡️ Wisconsin 🏡 Looking For: A loving home to finally call his own From what we've been able to gather, Bailey originally came from Missouri before being rehomed here in Wisconsin. Unfortunately, that's where the trail went cold, and despite our efforts, we weren't able to reconnect him with an owner. But Bailey doesn't seem too concerned about his mysterious past. He's a very sweet boy who enjoys attention and seems to like the company of other dogs! As always, we'd recommend a meet and greet with any potential canine siblings to make sure everyone gets along. ❤️ Now, we do have to mention that Bailey is carrying a little extra Beagle baggage. 😂 He's a bit overweight, so his future family should be prepared to help him work toward a healthier weight with appropriate meals and exercise. At 5 years old, Bailey has plenty of life ahead of him, and we're hoping the next chapter involves fewer unexpected road trips and a whole lot more stability. After making his way from Missouri to Wisconsin and eventually landing at our shelter, we think Bailey has done enough traveling for one lifetime. 🏡 If you're looking for a sweet Beagle boy who's ready to unpack his bags for good, come meet Bailey! 🐾💙
