Well, Milo is what we like to call a “special boy.” He was born with a condition called **megaesophagus**, which simply means his food needs a little help getting to his tummy. To keep him healthy and happy, he eats and drinks from an **elevated surface** (like a stand or lick mat). As long as he’s fed this way, he does great!Because of his special needs, Milo will need to stay **indoors only**, which suits him perfectly — he loves lounging in cozy spots and being close to his people.Milo is **100% litter box trained**, affectionate, playful, and incredibly well-adjusted. Hi there! My name is Frida, I am a 2 year old, female, domestic shorthair and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
