Shadowcat and her two sisters were found outside by a good Samaritan, and we were asked to help take them in. Shadowcat is a thoughtful observer with a curious mind who likes to take everything in first—watch, learn, sniff, inspect, and bap new things to figure out how the world works before jumping in. She loves chasing around pompoms, chewing on bendy straws (blue, green, and pink are her favorite colors), and doesn't mind splashing water or poking an ice cube around. This sleek short haired black kitten is a smart cookie, already picking up on cues from other cats. She’s learning to take treats gently from hands and even practicing “sit” for wet food. With her intelligence and curiosity, she could easily grow into a little trick-learning superstar. Shadowcat will be your leg-rubbing shadow and absolutely melts for massages, scratches, gentle pets and gets adorably confused when to headbutt–sometimes bonking her wet food instead of you—but that just adds to her charm. If you’re looking for a kitten who’s equal parts thoughtful, playful, and adorably awkward, Shadowcat might just be your perfect match. Shadowcat is spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, dewormed, and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines, including rabies.
