Story
Tinsel is a beautiful young torbie (a mix of tabby and tortie) with lovely orange patches woven into her coat. She’s estimated to be 10–12 months old, which we think is one of the best ages—still playful and fun, but more mellow and easygoing than a tiny kitten, with her personality already fully developed.   Tinsel is extremely friendly, outgoing, and affectionate. She enjoys playing with wand toys, loves lickable treats, and will happily beg you for pets and attention. She’s social, confident, and very people-oriented.   She hasn’t had much experience with other pets yet, but based on her easygoing and friendly personality, she would likely do well with proper introductions. Tinsel would also be a great fit for a home with children, as she’s gentle, social, and enjoys attention.   Tinsel is ready to find a loving home where she can continue to thrive and be cherished. If interested in adoption please fill out an application through our website or contact her foster for more info. Story
Adopt Gus & Jaq! These bonded brothers have been through a lot in their short lives, and they’re still two of the sweetest, most loving kittens you’ll ever meet. Gus & Jaq were born with a condition called eyelid agenesis, which means their eyelids didn’t fully develop. Without treatment, every blink could cause pain. Last month, they had a procedure called cryoepilation to freeze the hairs that were irritating their eyes, and they’re healing beautifully. Because of their condition, they’ll need eye drops 2–3 times a day long term. The drops are over-the-counter, easy to give, and they’re total pros about it. Jaq had a more severe case, so he’ll likely need to see the eye doctor once or twice a year just to make sure everything stays healthy. We know most people will scroll past a post about two “special needs” kittens. But what these boys need is simple to manage. What they give back is so much more. They are truly extraordinary. Raised by humans since they were tiny bottle babies, they’re affectionate, playful, and endlessly trusting. They greet every visitor like a long-lost friend, climb into laps without hesitation, and purr like little engines. Gus is the ultimate snuggler. Jaq is the playful goofball who keeps everyone laughing. They also love other cats and dogs, too! If you give them a chance, they’ll bring you so much love. They are neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, flea-treated, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. The adoption fee is $150 for the pair. Email liberationcathouse@gmail.com for more info.
