**SPECIAL NEEDS ADOPTION**Hi! My name is Narfi and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I am 2 years old and I've been at the shelter since 1/11/26.I'm a big, sweet, goofy guy who made my way to the shelter as a stray, and boy am I glad I did! I've been loving the indoor life and all the cozy blankies staff gives me. I love to explore my surroundings, take cozy naps, and get cradled. I always enjoy a pet, and I'll let you know if I want them as well. I love to cuddle and get all the attention I can! My ideal home would be full of love and patience while I settle in to another new environment, and willing to take on my health concerns. Since I was a stray, it is unknown how I would do living with kids or other animals. If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt! Our adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Friday from 10:30am-6:00pm and Saturday-Sunday 10:30am-4:00pm. Our adoption process is first come first serve.NARFI'S ADOPTION FEE: $75 plus tax. This fee is used for the extensive costs associated with vetting and otherwise caring for Narfi and future pets at our shelter. Every adopter from Animal Allies receives a pet that has been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Our pets also receive dental work or other treatments when necessary. In addition, Animal Allies provides free lifetime post-adoption counseling to help with any behavioral issues or concerns you may have for your new pet! Story
**AVAILABLE FROM FOSTER**Hello world! My name is Skelly. I'm 13 years old and I am looking for a patient and loving home with no other animals to live out my golden years. Back in October, I was found as a stray out in Saginaw. A kind person brought me to Animal Allies and my journey began. It was immediately obvious that I had been out on my own for quite some time; I was clearly older, very scared, and underweight. After some tests, we found out that I also have hyperthyroidism and will need lifelong medication. It was clear that I wanted attention and love, but I would still get scared and overstimulated when people tried to pet me - occasionally leading to a lash out (swatting and nipping). On the other hand, I would also get sad when people would try to leave my room, and I would go after their legs to stop them and get them to stay with me. This behavior can be off-putting to some, so staff sent me to a foster home to see how I would do in a home environment instead of the shelter. While in foster I've really come out of my shell and have been having such a fun time. Even though I'm 13 years old, I still LOVE to play! My foster introduced me to feathered wand toys and I go crazy for them - I run and leap as if I'm still a kitten! I also love looking out windows, getting yummy treats, and more than anything being around my person/people. I'm a total lap cat and want to always be around you, even if just passively. I'm still very much a princess however and will get frustrated with you if I'm not getting enough attention. At first, I would let my foster know my frustration by giving nips, but she's been teaching me that there are better ways to ask for love. I'm most comfortable only being pet on my head and ears, but I love to rub up on people and pet them! When I get worked up and bitey, my foster just calmly says "nooo" and I'll stop and go back to rubbing on her. I'm definitely looking for a home with humans who understand cat body language and have the patience to work with me. Once I trust you, I really am the sweetest little lady! I have the best purr, enjoy snuggles, and am so much fun to be with! I hope there is someone out there with a heart full of love and patience that is willing to give me the adoring home I've been longing for! Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 3.87 Age: 13yrs 3mths 3wks

Hi! I'm Sundae and I'm looking for a barn home to call my own! I don't like hanging around people too much, so I would prefer an outdoor home, like a safe barn or a heated shed/garage, to roam as I please. I may also enjoy the company of some chickens, cows, or horses. My adoption fee of $25 plus tax will help cover the cost of me being altered and vaccinated! If you are interested in giving me a new chance at living a happy life please contact the adoption team at 218-722-5341 for more information! Our adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Friday from 10:30am-6:00pm and Saturday-Sunday 10:30am-4:00pm Primary Color: Apricot Weight: 3.29 Age: 5yrs 1mths 3wks
