Story
Autumn is a beautiful medium hair Havana Brown mix adult female kitty! The is a rare solid chocolate brown color. She loves to snuggle up and loves being petted, brushed, picked up and is very affectionate towards humans. Autumn loves following you from room to room and always wants to be by your side. Autumn does needs to be the only animal in the household as she is not a fan of other cats or dogs. Autumn however is VERY affectionate with people and just wants to be loved on and snuggled with. She would be an excellent kitty in a single pet household. Autumn has already been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and on monthly flea treatment. Cats Are Good For The Soul is an in-home non-profit 501(c)3 rescue group.  All of our available kitties live in our homes with us which allows us to really get to know their personalities and to better match our kitties to what personality type the adopter is looking for.  All of our available kitties have already been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and on monthly flea treatment.

These pups are in Orangeburg, South Carolina too!

Story
Meow, I'm Stevie and I'm a curious feline with a touch of sass. You may have heard of me, I was named after the fabulous Stevie from Schitt's Creek. Just like my namesake, I may come across as a bit salty at first, but trust me, I just like to take my time getting to know new folks. Don't get me wrong, I love to play and I've got plenty of energy to spare. I love chasing after toys and playing with laser pointers, but I also have a soft side. When I'm not being my feisty self, you'll find me snuggled up in a sunny spot taking a cat nap. I may not be a fan of instant affection, but once I've warmed up to you, I'll be your loyal and loving companion. I have a strong personality, but I also know when it's time to be gentle and sweet. So, if you're looking for a feline friend who's got a bit of sass and plenty of love to give, look no further! I'm ready to find my forever home and start a new adventure. Are you ready to take on a feisty and loveable cat like me? Stevie has been spayed and is looking for her forever home. The adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccinations and wormings, spay or neuter surgery, Frontline application, collar, ID tag and a cardboard pet taxi. Shelter hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am to 4 pm, Wednesday from 10 am to 12 pm, Friday from 10 am to 3 pm, the first and third Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm and by appointment. Call 803-536-3918 for more information or email at: adopt@orangeburgspca.org May 21, 2024, 12:28 pm

Story
Meow! Hi there, I'm Barry, the feline with a story of mistaken identity and newfound confidence. Let me tell you my tale from my own purr-spective.When I first entered the world, everyone thought I was a girl. They named me Hallie, and for a while, it seemed like a fitting name. But as time went on, something curious happened—I started growing bigger and stronger, and my true identity emerged. It turns out I'm not Hallie, but a handsome little guy named Barry! As my true self was revealed, my humans quickly adjusted and changed my name to Barry. It was like a declaration of my newfound identity and a fresh start for me. From that moment on, I embraced my masculine charm with confidence and grace. At around 6 months old, I'm in the prime of my kittenhood. I'm filled with boundless energy, curious about every nook and cranny in my surroundings. I love to pounce on toys, chase after feathers, and engage in acrobatic leaps that showcase my agility. Life is one big playtime for me!Being a cat, I have a natural sense of independence and a mischievous streak. I love exploring every inch of my territory, from climbing up high perches to hiding in secret spots. I'm a master of stealth, able to sneak up on the unsuspecting and bring a spark of excitement into their lives. While I may have been mistaken for a girl initially, it doesn't define who I am. I've embraced my true self, and it has given me a newfound sense of confidence and pride. I'm not just a cat; I'm Barry, a charming and adventurous little guy who brings joy wherever I go.When it comes to companionship, I enjoy the company of my humans. Their gentle strokes and warm laps make me purr contentedly. I appreciate their understanding and acceptance of my true identity, and I return their love with my own feline charm.Life as Barry, the resilient and playful feline, is an exciting journey of self-discovery. I'm determined to leave my paw prints on the world, spreading joy, and captivating hearts with my irresistible charm. So, let's embark on this adventure together, where every day brings new surprises and endless opportunities for mischief and love. Meow meow!
