We will then approve you (sending in the application does not obligate you to adopt) and we can set up a time for you to meet one or more of our pets. The benefit to this is that we will hold the pet for you. However, the adoption fee is non-refundable if you changed your mind after adopting over the phone. Meet Salt! He was terrified when abandoned outdoors in a crate, so he is now relearning to trust people. He has been slowly warming up and will now approach sometimes for pets. However, he needs a patient owner and no kids. He does well with the cat abandoned with him, Pepper. Additionally, he has a luxating patella (knee cap pops out) which causes a mild limp.
