Story
__________________________________________________________________ Hi! This kitty needs a cozy home after the rough start he had as a semiferal living in a bad situation. He really is quite chill and likes pets. He would prefer a home that's quiet with a nice cat tree and cushions for much needed naps. All animal adoptions are typically $80. For puppies and kittens under the age of 6 months, adoptions are $100. For dogs, this includes the first series of vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, heartworm testing and heartworm preventative. For cats, this includes the first series of vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter and feline AIDS/leukemia testing. All cats and kittens adopted from the Germantown Animal Shelter are not allowed to be declawed. Any questions should be directed to animalshelter@germantown-tn.gov. Or by calling the shelter at 901-757-7358.

Story
Little Meg came from a house of many and feels a bit shy. She likes burrowing into blankets and cuddling with her friend Lois. Several people have told us that she is very sweet once she opens up to you. If you would like a quiet cozy companion to talk to and share your life with, we encourage you to take her home. She has a damaged eye, but don't let that throw you off. It doesn't affect her daily activities. We think her left pupil just got permanently dilated for some reason and perhaps her cornea was scratched. Come see her to see just how pretty her coat and personality are! __________________________________________________________________ All animal adoptions are typically $80. Story
_Look no further! Meet Maggie (Magnolia) and Blueberry! Two is better than one--especially when it comes to these beauties! They are a bonded pair of kitties. They have been in foster care in one house pretty much since birth. They are comfortable in a house, go up and down stairs, and aren't really afraid of vacuums and loud noises, or kids. They just love each other and play together--they love to wrestle and then lay on the floor, take a cat bath, and then fall asleep. And their purrs are just the best! They are just waiting for a good snuggle with you to show them off. Maggie is the beautiful split face tortie. She is a true tortie--she will fall in love with you on her terms and in her own way. She is the younger of the two and can be standoffish--but don't be fooled, as soon as you sit down, she will come over to be by your side. She loves all things water (including her water dish!) and she's not afraid to explore. She is very curious and observant. And she can slow blink at you from across the room that will melt your heart! And then there is her partner, Blueberry. She is the calmest, chilliest, sweet natured kitty in the world with the most beautiful eyes. She wants to be with you too, and loves a good snuggle. She loves to help with laundry and she will keep you company while you cook. They have used the litter box flawlessly from day one and are fairly quiet kitties. They haven't been outside, but they are very curious. They are both spayed and up-to-date on their vaccinations. Even though they are a little older, they are still kittens and love to play and jump and impress you with their aerials. If you can give them a loving home, you will be doubly rewarded with their love and affection. They are waiting for a spot in your heart and home! _________________________________________________________________ All animal adoptions are typically $80.
