Story
Queenie is currently in a foster home, and not housed at the BCAS building, please place an application to show interest and give us your contact information to move forward. Queenie's story with us began as she was brought into the BCAS very, very pregnant, and within days of arrival gave birth to her beautiful babies. With all the changes in her environment, the noise and bustle of the kitty ward, and her brand-new babies Queenie was very anxious and stressed and was quickly moved to a quiet foster home with her babies so she could flourish. Now that her babies are older, and they no longer rely on mom, it is time for Queenie to write the next chapter of her story with a new family and home. We are hoping to provide her with her very own happily ever after..... Queenie is pretty young and a little more on the slight side being estimated about a year and a half old. Considering her frame, it appears that she will remain a medium sized cat. She is a lovely brown tabby with nice warm cinnamon undertones, with four white socks (one has fallen down around her ankle) and a snow white bib to match. Queenie loves pets and attention but hasn't been much of a cuddler here with us (although I believe that is because of her maternal need to check on her babies). She talks to us and her babies frequently with little chirps and mews. She still has a bit of kitten goofiness about her and enjoys a good play time and still gets good zoomies. She has been particularly animated lately with her toys, and seems to particularly enjoy the kitty teaser ribbon toy. If Queenie had her wish, she dreams of a home and family that is a little quieter and more stable as she has gets nervous with upheavals and changes in her life, and it takes her a little bit to unwind and relax.
