Story
Posie is a 6-month-old spayed female who is microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Posie came to CRHS as a scared, semi-feral kitten who was terrified of everything. After several weeks in a loving foster home, she is ready to find her forever home! While Posie would LOVE to go home with her brother Peter, it is not required that they go together but she is required to have another cat in her home. She’s a sweet, gentle, and slightly reserved girl who just needs a little time to feel comfortable in new surroundings. Once she settles in, her curious and affectionate personality really starts to shine. Posie does best with other cats and is required to go home with a friendly feline buddy who can help boost her confidence. Posie isn’t a full-on lap cat, but she does enjoy quiet cuddle time with her foster mom—she’ll relax in your arms for a bit, then hop down when she’s ready for her own space. A calm, low-key home with a cat-savvy adopter would be the perfect fit for her. Children should be 8+. Story
Willie is a 6 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative! ***Willie is bonded with his housemate Whalen who is also available for adoption! So, this pair of handsome men are required to go home together - for ONE combined adoption fee! Meet Willie! Willie can be a shy and more reserved guy at times but he is absolutely one of the sweetest guys around! He adores slow, gentle pets from his favorite people and is happiest when he can just simply relax right by your side. When you aren’t around though he also does just fine with his independence—especially since his pal Whalan is always close by! He is a very mellow and low-key kitty who otherwise enjoys relaxing his days away whether he’s lounging next to a sunny window, catnapping in a cozy bed, or hanging out with Whalan. While Willie is the sweetest guy around, he does still startle on occasion and get stressed when there is a lot going on around him. So, he would do best in a bit of a calmer and quieter home with kids at least 5 years of age or older. He should do ok with other types of calmer and respectful pets in the home too given slow and proper introductions to one another. If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and email it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print and drop off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application

Story
Freya is a 5 year old spayed female. She is current on her vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative! Meet Freya! Freya is a sweet and outgoing girl who adores getting lots of pets and attention from just about everyone she meets. She can be quite the active, curious, and goofy girl at times who enjoys spending her days exploring her surroundings, playing with her toys, and hanging out with her feline friends. While she loves spending time with her favorite people getting lots of snuggles, she also does just fine with her independence when you must be away. In her last home, Freya got along great with the other cats as well as the children in the house. However, she didn’t always appreciate the dog in the home so may prefer a cat only household. So, she should do great with children of any age as well as other felines given slow and proper introductions to one another.
