Story
Cookie is an extremely friendly people puppy! She is going to be 9 years old in late May. She loves laying in laps or being wedged next to you on the couch. While she prefers to be resting, she will gladly play with toys, go on walks, or patrol a yard (giving everything a good sniff). She is healthy, affectionate, curious, and loyal. However, I must mention that she has separation anxiety to the point that she must be in the presence of a human pretty much at all times. She also is a picky eater but sharing human food (meat) gets her appetite going. My mother passed during the pandemic and I took the dog. We get along wonderfully but, as a single person, I feel she's not getting as much attention as she needs/wants. She'd do better with a pack of humans (and maybe another small dog or two). I want to make sure her new home has room to roam and the new owners can commit to having someone with her 24/7. This will require a dog sitter or two to be part of the care team.
