🤍 **Meet Sully!** 🤍Sully is a 5-year-old Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu mix who is hoping someone will finally see just how special he is. This little guy has spent his entire life living indoors, and while his previous owner loved him, Sully didn't receive all the overall care he needed. When he arrived at the shelter, he needed a good grooming and had urine burns on his feet. He's had a rough start to this next chapter, but Sully deserves the chance to move forward and find a home where all of his needs are met.Sully is pee-pad trained and used to living inside, but don't let his small size fool you — this boy loves getting outside for walks and exploring the world! He loves people and enjoys being around them, which makes shelter life especially hard for him. **Sully absolutely hates being stuck in his kennel.** He wants to be out with people, enjoying life, and getting the attention and companionship he craves. Unfortunately, shelter life doesn't give him much of what he's looking for.It's heartbreaking to watch a dog who has spent his entire life in a home end up sitting in a kennel, waiting for someone to notice him. Sully is an amazing little guy who seems to keep getting overlooked, and we really don't understand why. He's at the age where he should be enjoying the comforts of a loving home, going for walks, spending time with his people, and having a cozy spot to curl up at the end of the day.Sully needs a family who will look beyond his past and give him the care, attention, and love he deserves. He doesn't need to spend his days waiting behind a kennel door. He needs someone to take him home and remind him what it's like to be part of a family.**Sully has already spent five years of his life as someone's companion. Let's make sure the next chapter is one where he gets the care he needs and never has to wonder when his person is coming back.** ❤️Please give this sweet boy a chance. He deserves so much more than being overlooked. 🐾An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt. Dog adoption fees are $250.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice.Cats and kittens are minimum donation $50.00
