4 years old as of January. Born Jan/22. We bought Missy as a 8 week old puppy and grew up around the kids, but she was always a little timid. I have four children and she has never done well around them. She always would growl at them, but nothing more. However, a couple of weeks ago, she did bite one of my daughters after she sat down on the couch beside her to pet her. This is the only time that she has bitten one of the kids. Missy is a sweet dog to adults and is a big lover. Since all my children are still young, I don't want to risk them or their friends that come over to get bitten. The kids all love her and hate to see her go, but it is a reality that we have to face. The kids want to give her a good home versus a trip to the vet, but I would like to get her away from my children as soon as possible. I think that she would do great in a home without children.

Meet Jack and Jill! These two bonded seniors must be adopted together. Sadly, their owners health has gotten to the point they are no longer able to care for them. They are 8-10 years old, housebroken, healthy except need dentals (which we can help with if needed). Jill is roughly 30 pound Havanese mix and Jack is a Pappillon mix weighing around 20 lbs. They are spayed/neutered, dewormed, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, heartworm tested negative and microchipped. If interested, please complete an application found on our website. Story
Wolfe is a 5 year old neutered male pure bred Havanese. He was born in July of 2020, from breeder Havanese Haven. He is very playful and loves rough housing with our large dog. Wolfe is funny and trainable. He uses a bell to tell us when he wants outside. Wolfe is crate trained and has an occasional accident if we don't get him outside on a schedule. He likes playing outside, taking walks, and going to the doggy park. But he doesn't like being outside alone. He is a little shy around other people at first. He is super soft to cuddle and has lots of playful energy!

Rex is a stunning little sable and white Havanese puppy, born 8/20/25.  He has UABR (United All Breeds Registry) puppy papers.  He was born in a commercial kennel, then consigned to a dog breeder auction as a potential stud dog.  Instead, he was purchased into rescue so he can spend his life on a couch rather than in a breeder's pen. He is a little shy, but sweet and playful and good with other puppies.  He is microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and wormings. Because he is too young to be neutered, he will be placed with a neuter contract.  When proof of surgery is received, adopter will be mailed a rebate check for $50.00.
