Meet **Bear**, an 11-year-old small dog with a big heart and an even bigger capacity for love. Bear came to the NHSPCA after his beloved owner passed away and, sadly, no next of kin could be found. Since then, he has been showered with care, comfort, and kindness-and it shows.Bear is a sweet senior who enjoys the simple things and appreciates gentle companionship. While he is currently obese, he's been receiving attentive care and is looking great. During his time with us, Bear has had several important medical needs addressed, including treatment for chronic dry eye, which had been causing him discomfort. He is now on daily eye medication to help keep his eyes comfortable and healthy. He has also had a mass removed from his backside and recently underwent a dental cleaning with extractions, helping him feel much better overall.Bear is ready for a calm, loving home with someone who understands that senior pets still have so much love to give. He's looking for a family who wants a loyal little friend and doesn't mind helping with his simple daily eye medication routine.
