Story
Chico is a super cute and fun 6 year old, 11 pound Lhasa Apso mix. We are accepting applications & will go through our process including a meet. He will receive a dental April 1 through rescue, and will be ready for pick up to pre-adopters after that date. If you are in Bend, he will be there for the dental. Chico is fostered in Cascadia, Oregon. We are about one hour from Sisters, Eugene, Albany, Salem. Two from Portland and Newport. He can be met in Bend this Friday, and adopted in Bend April 2, or we will meet partway if you live elsewhere. This sweetheart is great with children with nice dog manners, with adults and with nice dogs. He is house trained, walks well on leash, enjoys car rides, walks, activity and outdoor time. He knows several training cues. Chico is very new to rescue, so we will continue to add to his profile as we learn about him. Thus far, he is a sweetheart who would like to be with his people most of the time. Chico is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and micro-chipped. He will receive a dental April 1.. He will require a booster vaccine 3-4 weeks after his initial vaccination . His adoption fee is $500. A great home and must haves for Chico include: 1. An owned home with a securely fenced yard. 2. Folks who are mostly at home or will take Chico with them a lot: retired, work from home or otherwise. He may bark if left alone, at least until he feels settled in his new home. 3. Adopters who treat their dog as a family member and will include him in their fun activities. 4. People who will take Chico on daily walks. All dogs love and deserve to sniff and walk outside their yard! 5. Folks who know and are prepared for the cost of grooming and frequency of grooming a dog like Chico.
