Story
I’m Nipsy, an 8 year old, 15 lb., Havanese (mix?). Do to my background specifics being unknown, not a lot is known about my past. I’m looking for a calm adult furever home with someone who will earn my trust, give me love and allow me to feel secure. Patience is key to allow me time to bond and feel comfortable in a new environment.  I AM VERY comfortable around dogs. New people are "scary" and need to be introduced slowly to limit stress with a slow stress free pace.  A secure 3 foot fence is required and VERIFIED "Squirm Proof" so I don't squeeze out small nooks or cracks in fencing. ONCE Acclimated and bonded with my family/person, this requirement will be a thing of the past! Leash introduction to the fenced yard will be required initially.  Once given time, I’m SURE I'll be "the total package", calm, friendly, well mannered, good with people, cats, and other dogs. If you feel you can help me "forget my past", "Bond", and "start a new chapter in my life", I'm the "Little Squirt" for you!  Complete an application "TUTE SWEET!" To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash. We will never know the trauma she endured... but it definitely affected her. She is very timid and unsure of what life can truly can be like. She has been making progress in her foster home and will absolutely need another dog to give her confidence.
