Story
Foster Notes:Danny was a former member of the SAFE family but unfortunately his mom`s health is declining and he is now on a search for a new forever home. Here is what Danny`s foster dad has to say about this little guy:Danny is a Schnoodle (Poodle-Schnauzer mix) about 32 lbs. of pure love and play. He is an awesome smallish dog that is house trained (if you have a doggie door), 6 years old, with a soft silver coat and a bit on the chunky side because he has a very healthy appetite. I promised the former owner to find the perfect family for Danny. A family that treats their dogs like children and not toys. Danny should have a K9 playmate and some kids would be nice too. Do you need a new bundle of love in your life? You may be the lucky family to give Danny a great new home and life.

Story
Meet Piper aka Bikini. This sweet little girl was pulled from a shelter in Phoenix on the euthanasia list. No one could  believe she wasn’t reclaimed. She’s adorable and has a great smile as you can see!   We believe she is a poodle/maltese maybe some   dachshund mix. She would need regular grooming appointments to keep her looking beautiful and healthy. She’s got a long body, shorter legs, and just as sweet as she can be! The vet has aged her around 10. When X-rays were done under anesthesia (for her spay) they discovered old injuries that were not treated. She may have been hit by a car when she was younger. When she sits she extends one hind leg out because it doesn’t bend. They also noticed an old neck injury. Neither one of these old injuries cause her any pain, problems or keep her from doing all the things dogs do. She runs, dances, and plays with the other dogs in her foster home. Our vet recommended she take a joint supplement (mini dog cosquin) once a day. She walks very nice on a leash. On most cool mornings she can be found with her dog friends out for a 2 mile walk with her foster Mom. This little pup has been spayed, UTD on shots, microchipped and had her dental. Currently she lives with big dogs, little dogs and cats. Piper loves having a yard to play and explore with her friends. She would love to have another friend to play in her new home. This little one (13 lbs) is housebroken and has very nice house manners. She would do best with another dog friend and someone who is home most of the time.  She’s all set to start her next adventure!    Piper is adoptable to homes in Tucson, Marana, Catalina, Sahuarita and Oro Valley only. Her adoption fee is $275, with an additional $21 for licensing.    To meet Piper, fill out an adoption application today at www.tucsoncoldwetnoses.com  *Applications to adopt: wwwTucsonColdWetNoses.com Home Visit / ID and Residence Verification is required.  Compliance does not imply or guarantee adoption.   Approval is the sole discretion of CWN representative(s). Story
🚨🔍 MISSING: ONE SQUEAKY TOY 🔍🚨 Prime Suspect: MAX 🐩 Authorities report that a 17-pound poodle mix known only as “Max” has been linked to the mysterious disappearance of countless squeaky toys, chew bones, and personal space boundaries. Witnesses state that if a squeaky toy goes off anywhere within a three-mile radius, Max will appear immediately. Upstairs? He’s there. Across the house? He’s there. In another dimension? He’s probably already investigating. His search-and-rescue skills are unmatched. His qualifications are self-issued. His confidence is concerning. 🚔🐾 But Max wasn’t always this happy little weirdo. Life has taught him some pretty hard lessons. He survived on the streets. He learned that food wasn’t guaranteed. That toys were worth guarding. That if you wanted something, you had to protect it. Then, after finally being rescued and reunited with the family he once belonged to… they didn’t want him back. Just like that. Homeless again. Angry. Confused. Heartbroken. And honestly? Who could blame him? 💔 When Max came in my foster care last December, he came with baggage. Not the cute little carry-on kind. The emotional kind. He marked everything. Guarded everything. Didn’t understand crates. Didn’t trust the world very much. But day by day, this little guy started discovering something he’d never really had before: ❤️ Consistency. ❤️ Stability. ❤️ Patience. ❤️ Love. And slowly… the grumpy street survivor began to disappear. Today, Max is a quiet, chill, independent little gentleman who enjoys the finer things in life: ☀️ Sunbathing like he’s retired in Florida 🦴 Collecting chew bones like valuable treasures 🛏️ Napping professionally 👀 Supervising household activities 🎾 Hunting squeaky toys with elite tactical precision 🚶 Long walks… Just kidding. He heard walking is bad for your health. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤣🤣🤷‍♀️ He’s dog & kid friendly, likely cat friendly, and would love a calm home filled with toys where he can continue being his wonderfully quirky self. Now, let’s talk honestly about the one thing everyone asks about: 🚽 The marking. Yes, Max still marks sometimes. He’s doing MUCH better with routine, consistency, belly bands, and frequent potty breaks. Will he completely stop? Maybe. Maybe not. The truth is that some habits become deeply wired when you’ve altered later in life or surviving on your own. But Max is trying. And every single day he proves that old dogs absolutely can learn new tricks. What he needs is someone who understands where he came from. Someone who sees past the mistakes. Someone who realizes that the funny little toy detective with the snaggletooth smile worked incredibly hard to become the dog he is today. 🥹 🐩 MAX ✨ 5 Years Old ✨ Toy Poodle Mix ✨ Neutered ✨ Microchipped ✨ Up-to-Date on Vaccines ✨ Heartworm Negative ✨ Dog & kid Friendly ✨ Likely Cat friendly ✨ Loves Chew Bones ✨ Quiet, Calm & Independent ✨ World Champion Squeaky Toy Investigator After everything he’s survived, Max isn’t looking for much. Just a couch. A family that means it when they say “forever.” And maybe one squeaky toy. Okay… definitely WAY more than one squeaky toy. And lots of balls & bones!🤣 📍 Tucson, AZ 🐾 Available Through Paws_Without_Borders 👉 Apply Here: https://airtable.com/appLYepkMeqjx3Tjh/shrtcmS9tSiQOdxMN ❤️ Tell your friends!! Somewhere out there is the person who’s been looking for a funny little toy detective with a giant heart and a second chance story. Not to mention that incredibly snaggletooth smile of his! #AdoptMax #AdoptDontShop #PawsWithoutBordersUS #ArizonaRescue #fosterdog #PoodleMix #SilverCurls #TucsonRescue #RescueDog #AdoptLove #ForeverHome #PimaAdoptables #SecondChances
