Story
Meet Miss Bell — The Tiny Diva With a Big Personality Miss Bell is a spoiled little queen who knows exactly what she wants in life: attention, affection, and a human who appreciates her dramatic flair. She’s a laploving, sweaterwearing, sitcomwatching companion who will happily spend her day supervising your every move and soaking up all the love you’re willing to give. Personality & Home Life Miss Bell is a certified diva, and she wears the title proudly. She loves being the center of attention and would thrive as the only pet in the home. She bonds deeply with women and children, and while she can be around men, they are not her preferred audience. She can be a little nervous in new places or with new people, but once she settles in, she becomes expressive, affectionate, and wonderfully silly. One minute she’s giving you dramatic sideeye, and the next she’s melting into your lap for belly rubs. Ideal Home Miss Bell needs a home that understands her quirks and celebrates her personality. She would do best with: A woman or a womanled household Kids under 6 are fine — she enjoys them No other pets (she wants all the attention and all the snacks) A fenced yard — she loves exploring and she will bolt if given the chance Someone who doesn’t mind a dog who barks to announce every bird, leaf, and mailman Her Habits & Favorites Housebroken and litter trained Loves to explore the backyard Thinks barking is her personal superpower Enjoys sharing your snacks and watching comedy or crime shows with you Adores tugofwar, cozy sweaters, and staring lovingly into your eyes Will “help” you cook by supervising and cleaning up any crumbs Prefers to eat without other pets nearby — she guards her food and needs a home where that’s respected Why You’ll Love Her Miss Bell is expressive, loyal, funny, and full of personality. She’s the kind of dog who becomes your shadow, your couch buddy, your kitchen helper, and your little soulmate. She just needs someone who understands her diva energy and gives her the stable, loving home she deserves. If you’re looking for a devoted, quirky, affectionate little companion, Miss Bell is ready to claim your lap — and your heart.   The suggested adoption donation for Miss Bell is $350, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training). Story
Koda — Gentle Cockapoo Looking for a Calm, Loving Home Meet Koda — a devoted, affectionate Cockapoo (born 2015) who lives to cuddle and be near the people he loves. He’s a sweet, loyal companion who greets you with a wagging tail, soft wiggles, and plenty of kisses. Koda adores lap time, quiet play, and curling up close at bedtime. ** Personality and Temperament ** Affectionate and velcrolike — loves to snuggle, follow you around, and nap curled against you. Protective and alert — will bark or growl to let you know something’s up; this comes from caring and wanting to keep his people safe. Friendly with adults and most dogs — very social and eager for attention; sometimes doesn’t respect other dogs’ personal space. Slow to warm with new people — may bark or growl at first but usually relaxes and seeks affection once comfortable. ** Important Home Requirements ** No young children — Koda becomes stressed around toddlers and small children who climb on him or handle him roughly.  (He would possibly be okay around older kids, age 10+.) Calm, lowtraffic environment — thrives in quiet homes without constant activity or small children underfoot. Fenced yard recommended — enjoys supervised outdoor time but should not be left unattended outside. ** Dog and Toy Interactions ** Plays with other dogs but can be overly enthusiastic and invade personal space; does best with tolerant, easygoing canine companions. Toyguarding  — will let other know to protect toys from other dogs. Management strategies like supervised play and separate chew times work well. ** Health and Care Notes ** Mobility considerations — Koda has a torn ACL and some back issues; he enjoys gentle play but should avoid high jumps and frequent stairs.  He has taken medication for discomfort, but doesn't need it regularly right now - only if he's limping. Olderdog needs — may breathe heavily at rest; vet checks have shown good heart and lung function.  (He has taken medication to help relax him, but doesn't need it regularly.) House training — potty trained but has worn a belly band and will need opportunities to go outside regularly - especially in a new environment due to age. Crate history — previously stressed by long, unattended crating; does well when crated in a calm, loving environment and when not left alone for long periods.   Dental care — has few teeth remaining and enjoys bully sticks and soft chews. ** Why Koda Is Special ** Koda is a huge-hearted companion who gives love freely once he feels safe. He’s the kind of dog who will happily play gently, then settle into your lap for hours. He’s protective in a caring way and will become deeply bonded to the person who offers him a calm, consistent home.   The suggested adoption donation for Koda is $350, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training).
