Story
DOG-FRIENDLYGino and three other poodles arrived at the shelter together when their prior family situation changed. These pint-sized poodles are ready for a fresh start. Each one is spunky and full of personality. They thrive on human affection and love to be held. They’re also curious and enjoy exploring all the outdoor smells. Because they came in together, they are incredibly social, but they are ready to find their perfect matches—whether that means going in pairs or finding a home where they can be the center of your universe.

Story
Meet Orville! Orville is one of Alma and Bess’s precious pups, lovingly known as one of the “Fluffers.” This litter had a rough start after being surrendered from a backyard breeding/hoarding situation and ending up in the shelter. Seeing them on cold concrete was heartbreaking, so into foster care they went. They were not in the best condition at first, but with love and care they started to thrive. Then, unexpectedly, they came down with parvo. Orville and his siblings were rushed to the emergency vet late at night, where they received antibodies and supportive medical treatment. And recover they did! Now Orville is healthy, happy, curious, and ready for his forever home. He is 15 wks at 6.6 lbs. Tri-colored handsome boy A perfect mix of fluffy and scruffy Has an old soul personality Easygoing and observant Will tell you his opinion when he has one Smart and eager to learn Good with dogs, Good with cats. Fully vaccinated and neutered. Eating Retriever puppy food and does well eating with the group. Crated at night and during the day as needed, doing well with leash training. Doing excellent with potty training. Will need regular grooming to keep him looking his very best, Orville is the kind of pup who likes to take in the world before jumping right into it. He is a bit reserved most of the time, but if he needs something or truly does not like something, he will happily let you know. He does bark, but not obsessively. He is that perfect mix of “let me observe” and “let me tell you exactly what I think.” He has a thoughtful little personality, a smart mind, and a sweet heart. Orville is easygoing, curious, and eager to learn. He would do well with a family that appreciates a pup who is calm enough to watch the world, smart enough to learn quickly, and confident enough to speak up when it matters. His moms are both right around 20 pounds, so Orville is expected to stay on the smaller side. He is handsome, sweet, and full of quiet personality. If you are looking for an old soul with the perfect mix of curious, smart, and not afraid to tell you his thoughts, Orville is your guy. His $550 adoption fee covers medical care up to adoption to include vaccines, neuter, microchip, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY. ##2727349##

And recover they did! Now Bonnie-Lou is healthy, happy, confident, and ready for her forever home. One of only three girls in the litter Tricolored, but mostly black Definitely gives “oldest daughter, I’m in charge” vibes Loves a good lap to observe from Good with other dogs Good with cats Fully vaccinated and spayed Eating Retriever puppy food and does well eating with the group Crated at night and during the day as needed Doing well with leash training Potty training is going well Barks when she has a reason, but not excessively Scruffy and lower maintenance than some of her fluffier siblings May just need the hair around her eyes trimmed so she can see betterBonnie-Lou is sweet, confident, and full of little boss-lady energy. She will let the others do their thing for a while, but once she has had enough — or if they are not doing something to her liking — she is more than happy to step in and let everyone know. She likes to think she is the boss, and honestly, she might be right. But underneath that confident little personality is a sweet girl who loves to sit in a lap and watch the world from her favorite spot.Bonnie-Lou would do well with someone who loves a confident, observant pup with just the right amount of sass. She is smart, sweet, and already doing well with her puppy basics. Her moms are both right around 20 pounds, so Bonnie-Lou is expected to stay on the smaller side. She is 15 weeks right now and weighs in at 7.2lbs.
