Story
Hello world! I’m Gigi, a 4-year-old, 20-lb., former puppy mill mama and poodle mix. My foster mom says I’m one of the sweetest, cuddliest little four-legged creatures she’s ever met. All I want from life is a warm home, my very own people, and a soft comfortable bed. Not to brag, but I’m very resilient and a smart cookie, too. It has only taken me a week to become mostly house trained! One of my favorite pastimes is going for walkies. I'm a good girl and don't pull on my leash, but I do love to take time to stop and smell the...well, it's not exactly roses that I like to smell! Following that, it's nap time. After getting sprung from puppy mill jail, the thought of returning to a crate or a pen terrifies me. In my foster home, I'm trusted with the run of the kitchen when alone, and we are slowly broadening my horizons. If you have them, I’m open to meeting other dogs to see if they are a good fit to live with. I can also be cat-tested and think living with older kids would be okay. One more thing—my coat needs regular grooming to make sure I look and feel my best. My foster mom says she will probably cry when I leave, but I know I'm ready for my forever home.
