Story
Meet Tokyo! This sensitive girl has recently come into our care and is looking for a very special home to call her own. She has had a couple different homes over the past few years, so we know a few things about her needs and preferences. She can be touch sensitive and is looking for a quiet home who will know how to respect her boundaries. She will come to you when she's ready, but is very clear when she's had enough petting. We feel she would be best in a home without young children and a predictable routine. She is a beautiful girl with a long coat that will need regular maintenance. She's recently had a haircut so she can go into her new home feeling her best. Her most recent home had quite a few people in it, coming and going, and Tokyo was not comfortable there. She has a history of inappropriate urination and defecation in the home. So far, she's doing great and we haven't seen this behavior in shelter. But moving into a new home can be a bit scary and interested applicants should be aware that they could see some accidents along the way.Tokyo is very curious and would love to watch the birds fly by the window. Do you have a safe and quiet space where Tokyo can thrive? Come by and meet her in person! Adoption hours are 12-3, Tuesday-Sunday (closed on Mondays). Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: Blonde Weight: 6.98 Age: 5yrs 0mths 0wks

Story
Olive is Himalayan Ragdoll cat with slightly different coloured eyes, one blue, the other green. We got her as a kitten from a breeder in Alberta and have had her for nearly 10 years. Her birthday is January 29, 2016. We would love her to find a home for her that could give her the love and time she deserves. She is happiest in calm and quieter environments and loves when she has many places for to sleep, we call them her 'spots'. Olive is a very loving, and peaceful and cuddly cat, she prefers adults due to a history of young children being too loud and overwhelming for her. Olive is NOT aggressive but has hissed and swatted at children, only when she has been cornered and is afraid. She is fairly independent and will often go be on her own once she has had her fill of attention. If she notices you sitting on the couch she may cuddle around/beside you or on your lap (once she knows you).
