Himalayan kittens & cats in Rochester, Indiana

Adora means adoration or "to adore".  Nothing could be truer about this beauty!  Can you believe she came to us as a stray and was not reclaimed?  Worse yet, she was found outside and is front declawed!  This girl is middle aged judging by her teeth- maybe 7-9 years old.  Her breed is a guess- maybe Himalayan, Ragdoll or Siamese mix.  She is in good health besides the fact she has some arthritis and pain in her paws from the declaw.  While she was quite hostile when she arrived. we found that her mood and temperament greatly improved after we gave a Solensia injection.  Solensia is an injectable monoclonal antibody therapy administered monthly to control feline osteoarthritis pain.  While we found that it did work very well for Adora, other pain management medications/supplements may also work.  Some suggestions are cosequin supplement, or gabapentin which are easy daily medications added to food.  Adora has turned into a pretty sweet girl.  She does like pet, but on her own terms.  She also loves canned food -- in fact every morning she is quite vocal about demanding her canned food! :)  A quiet home will be best for her, with children 12 years or older.
