Story
Meet Chai!! This sweet girl is looking for her forever home for the new year!! Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/cat Chai recently joined our foster program! She is approximately 2yrs old After being found as a stray, Chai quickly settled into life as an indoor cat. She loves to be near her person getting the pets most definitely deserves. Chai is so sweet and calm, but we think she will be quite playful in her forever home. Chai was rescued from life on the streets of Houston by a Good Samaritan. She is now ready and excited to have a furever home this holiday season!! --- Chai will be microchipped, spayed, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption. She is in excellent health! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Chai is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes. ——— ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee pays for a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts! To learn more about our TNR (Trap / Neuter / Return) efforts, please follows us on Instagram @roses_rescues_htx. (All adoption fees also include transportation costs, spay/neuter of the animal, age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipping.)

Story
Meet Ruby! She is a 12 year old sweet and sensitive potentially Himalayan or Ragdoll mix. Ruby has been adjusting well to her foster home but was understandably shaken up after losing her home of 12 years. Sh3 finda comfort in his foster dad and greets him at the door with a sweet meow. She loves affection but will get spooked if people come on too strong. She takes a few days to get comfortable but will then seek pets and affection. She takes time to snuggle on the couch or in bed when she wants but also loves her alone time in a quiet warm spot. She needs a quiet and patient home to let her feel safe and get love on her own terms. She will be happiest in a home with no cats, dogs, or kids. She could potentially live with another older independent cat but we think she needs to be able to protect her peace from overwhelming housemates. Ruby is currently on a prescription diet for urinary needs. She is prone to crystals and UTIs and benefits grately from a calm environment, urinary supplements, and ample hydration. She had a cystotomy to remove stones before her surrender to the shelter and has been recovering well. She will need to have regular senior wellness visits (bloodwork and urinalysis recommended) and monitoring to make sure her urinary health continues to improve. Vaccinated for FVRCP and Rabies. Neuetered and microchipped and FeLV / FIV negative. To apply for Ruby, visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application. It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the animal is on our website, they are still available. Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable cat, or final size of any of our adoptable kittens. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the cat into our rescue. Adoptions: adopt@waggytailrescue.org ##2611432##

Story
Charlie is a beautiful chunky cat. We don't like to offend him, so we say chunky. We don't use the other word. He is extremely lovable, loves to be pet. He loves to communicate with people and follow them around the house. He responds well to his name. He will also tap you if ignored. He will tap you until you pet him. He is a sweetheart. He's 9/10 yrs old. He is potty-trained. He becomes very skittish if he's in an environment where a lot is going on, like a lot of noise and a lot of people. #039 He needs a calm environment. The perrrfect home ideally is a household where there are no young children. He is due for annual shots. #039; He is fixed, and there is maintenance on his eyes because they get dirty quite often. You should have experience with this breed before adopting. There is a rehoming fee. Presently, Charlie has long, long hair and needs to be combed daily.
