Rescued with her sister, she’s now learning basic commands and showing just how smart and eager to please she really is. Playful, intelligent, and full of potential, Lani is ready to leave her past behind and step into a brighter future. What she wants most is her very own forever family—a home where she can be loved, cherished, and given the chance to thrive. Lani has proven her resilience, and now she’s ready to prove what an amazing companion she can be. She would love long walks and running with her people. Could you be the family she’s been waiting for? Lani is located in our shelter in Hondo, Texas. Lani is also available for transport to St. Petersburg, FL on February 21, 2026. Adoption fee is $450 which includes the transport fee. Truffles - a prancing beauty!'s Story Say hello to Truffles! Truffles is a beautiful low rider / Corgi mix, about 1.5-2 years old and 22 pounds of pure sugar. She's happy, playful, and full of life! She enjoys playing with her dog friends here at the rescue and would thrive in an active home where she can go on walks, hikes, or runs. Truffles would blend well in just about any family setting with dogs or children. Truffles is from a hoarding case but she doesn't show any signs of abuse or neglect and is a resilient little girl. She'd make a fantastic companion for a family ready to give her the activity and affection she craves. Truffles is located in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to St Petersburg, FL on February 21st. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $450. The fee includes the transport cost. Truffles is Heartworm and Chagas negative.
