Story
Hi, we're 16 teenagers from Alabama, and for a long time, life was confusing. We lived in a small trailer with so many other dogs that we barely understood what it felt like to have space, comfort, or a full belly. Every day was a struggle, and we didn't know if life would ever get better.
Then one day, our owner looked around and realized something heartbreaking—there were simply too many of us to care for. She made the difficult decision to ask for help. That one choice changed our lives forever.
Our first stop was a county shelter, and honestly, that was scary. We knew shelters can be overwhelming. We could have been separated, sent to different places, or even never given the chance to find loving homes.
But our story didn't end there.
Big Dog Ranch Rescue opened its doors and its hearts to all 16 of us.
For the first time, we are receiving the medical care we've always needed. Our tiny bodies are being treated for fleas, we're getting nutritious meals to help us grow strong, and we're receiving vaccines to protect us from illnesses we were never safe from before. Most importantly, we're finally learning what love, kindness, and hope feel like.
We still have a little growing to do, but every day we're becoming healthier, happier, and more confident. Soon we'll be ready to begin the greatest adventure of all—finding families to call our own.
Life may have started with hardship, but we believe our future will be filled with wagging tails, soft beds, belly rubs, butterflies, rainbows, and people who will love us forever.
