Story
Ghost has been my buddy since he was 6 weeks old. He knows all basic commands plus, rolling over, and playing dead. He has his moments of husky stubbornness. He is up to date on all vaccines. He does well with most dogs but not German shepherds (due to him being attacked by one at a young age). He does have arthritis in his front wrists and in his back legs in his old age. Currently, doing well with glycoflex. Has had one dental where he had great teeth for a seven year old boy! Nicknames: Ghosty or Ghost pepper. We do have an Australian Shepherd that we have also listed. I would love to keep the two together if possible.

Signed over for being "unwanted at the Eldorado Animal Shelter, Guppie was scheduled for euthanasia. We pulled him from the shelter to keep him alive and he is currently in boarding looking for a foster or forever home. He is so friendly, happy, energetic and has the cutest zoomies. This dapper gentleman would make an excellent companion.

Story
Kavik is an Alaskan Husky mix and is a very loving dog who found himself at the Wichita Animal Shelter. He's a bit nervous meeting new people but warms up quickly and has no problem cuddling with you if you if you can keep his attention. He has tons of energy, so an active family is a must for him. IHe is great with the kids ages 6&10 in his current foster home, but needs to work on social skills. He wants to say hello to every animal but comes off as a little too eager/intrusive when given the chance to say hi. He wants to be an alpha so he can be persistent about shows of dominance with other dogs. He has little interest in playing fetch. He is a great running companion but needs some work to slow down on walks (gentle leader works ok but it bugs him). He is mostly house trained. He has been kenneled when he can't be watched and shows signs of separation anxiety when he's left alone. He has only had a couple of accidents inside the house. He has a scar on his right cheek and left front leg for reasons unknown. He does know some common commands like sit and come and is very food driven. He is a fast eater but hasn't shown too much protective actions towards people getting close while he's eating. He does not like being pulled by his collar by your hand (maybe a trigger from past human aggression?) but is ok when its done with a leash.
