Meet Twisted!Twisted is a three-year-old Siberian Husky mix weighing about 45 pounds, with a soulful gaze and a heart that just needs a little time to shine. He can be sensitive and somewhat shy when meeting new people, so he appreciates slow, respectful introductions that allow him to feel safe and comfortable. Because of this, we’re recommending that any children in his forever home be around 10–13 years old or older and able to understand his need for space at first.Once Twisted warms up, his sweet and affectionate personality truly blossoms. He loves cuddle sessions just as much as a good play session and enjoys bonding closely with his people. When he trusts you, he’s incredibly loyal, loving, and eager to be by your side.When it comes to other dogs, Twisted can sometimes come on a bit forward or unsure during introductions, which can make him feel uncomfortable. However, he does show potential to live with another canine companion. A slow, patient, and structured introduction will be very important to help set him up for success.At this time, we do not know how Twisted does with cats.Twisted is looking for a patient, understanding home that will give him the time he needs to settle in — and in return, he’ll offer deep devotion, affection, and plenty of husky charm. As you can see in his adorable video, once he knows you he is a bouncy and playful boy who loves to make the most of playtime!Because Chaos can be sensitive, he’s looking for a calm, patient home that understands that trust takes time. Say hello to Atlas! He is a 1.5 year old Husky mix who weighs about 59 pounds. Atlas is a handsome fellow, but he can be quite sensitive in nature. He arrived in our care after being tied to a tree abandoned, so he is still learning to trust new people and new places. Once he knows you, he is a sweet and snuggly boy who loves sticking close to his favorite people. He may not enjoy going on adventures with you or exploring outside of his comfort zone, but with his favorite people he is a total lovebug. Atlas seems to enjoy other dogs and thrives in an environment where he can have a canine companion to help build his confidence. We would strongly encourage a slow introduction between Atlas and any canine friends to ensure his success in the future. Due to his sensitivity, if there are kids in his forever home he would do best with kids ages 13 and older that can give him space while he`s becoming comfortable.
