Meet Harper 💛 Senior Sweetheart Seeking a Quiet, Loving Home Harper is an incredibly sweet, gentle soul who has experienced more loss than any dog should. She is 11 years old and recently lost both of her beloved humans when they passed away. Shortly after, she also lost the only home she had ever known. Through all of this, Harper has remained affectionate, loving, and eager to connect with her people. Harper is a Corgi/Shepherd mix who thrives on being the center of attention and would do best as the only dog in the home. She is currently living with her human sister, who loves her dearly, but Harper’s need for calm companionship makes it difficult to share space with a young, energetic dog. 🐾 Harper at a Glance Age: 11 years Breed: Corgi / Shepherd mix Spayed & Microchipped: Yes Medical: Up to date on all vaccines, heartworm prevention, and flea/tick prevention Health: Appears very healthy for her age House Habits: Sleeps through the night, eats well Training: Attended training classes when younger; walks well on leash 💕 Personality & Preferences Harper enjoys both indoor comfort and outdoor time, and she loves being near her person. She is happiest in a peaceful home where she can soak up affection and feel secure again. She does have a few quirks: She tears up dog beds (soft blankets may be a better option!) She is very afraid of fireworks, thunder, and lightning, so a calm, reassuring presence during storms is important 🏡 Ideal Home Harper is looking for: A quiet, stable home A single-dog household Someone who understands senior dogs and will be patient, loving, and gentle A person or family willing to help her feel safe after so much change ❤️ Extra Support Harper’s current caregiver is deeply invested in her future and is willing to help with food and veterinary visits if needed, ensuring Harper continues to receive excellent care. Harper has lost so much — but she still has so much love to give.
