Story
Chase has learned to live with our cat & I've seen him play well with small dogs.He has medium/big dog fear aggression. I asked previous owner if he had been attacked or bitten by another dog or wild animal, they said no. He's been a part of our family for 4 yrs & isn't as reactive w/other dogs as he used to be. That's to say, if he is a good distance he doesn't growl, show teeth, or lunge as much.Chase needs an experienced adopter, plenty of room to roam in his own pvt yard without medium/big dogs nearby. I have talked with a couple of trainers & they think it's likely he can be trained out of his fear aggression. This would be from a knowledgeable owner or trained professional.He loves people & attention. I would caution that he isn't in a home w/small children just because he hasn't lived w/young children in our home or w/original owner.He really is very sweet like Golden Retrievers are known for, he just has some special needs.Any of his supplies you want are part of adoption fee!

Story
Here is Bentley, a 7 year old golden retriever. He’s a sweet loving boy much of a the time, has the pretty typical golden goofiness. He has had some issues of aggression with both owners, typically with possession aggression, where he takes our items, and we have to take him out of the room to grab it so he doesn’t snap at us. He is typically more aggressive with the male, sometimes deciding he doesn’t want to let him in the door as he goes inside, and shows teeth. Never had a problem with our kiddo, but we also don’t want to take that chance. He also has many allergies which is the main reason we are needing to part ways with him. We don’t feel like we can keep up with his ongoing, typically monthly allergy shot and/or pills, and all specialized dog foods we’ve tried, hasn’t helped keep us out of the vet. He gets chronic ear infections and spots on his belly, after about 3 weeks from cytopoint, he’s typically back itching constantly and we don’t feel we keep up with it enough for him
