THIS ANIMAL HAS THREE ADOPTION HOLDS* Meet Apollo! He's ready to jump into the arms of his new family! He has been described as full of energy, loving, happy and so, so handsome! Apollo is housetrained and will sit in front of you and perform a little dance when he needs to go out! He is kennel trained and is used to being kenneled overnight and when left alone, otherwise he tends to get into things. He has lived with children 3 years and older and has been friendly and excitable. He probably wouldn't do best with small children due to his high energy and lack of manners. He has lived with cats and has been excitable and tries to chase and play with them. We are unsure how he would do around other dogs. All introductions should be slow and proper when bringing home new animals. Ask staff for tips! Apollo has a lot of energy and not so many manners. He would benefit from basic obedience classes to help him be the best boy! He loves his people and responds better to attention and praise over treats. Come meet this handsome man today! *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
