Story
✨ Meet Willow ✨ 1.5 years old | 50 lbs | Husky/Pit Mix Willow is smart, loyal, and truly wants to be someone’s dog. She’s crate, leash, and potty trained, loves to run, enjoys fetch (on her terms 😅), and is happiest right by your side. She adores people—especially kids—and would make the absolute best little sidekick. 💛 Loves all people (big and small) 🐾 Well-mannered, obedient, eager to please ✨ Beautiful inside and out Now the honest part—because she deserves nothing less. Due to unfortunate experiences in her last home (including a bad board and train situation), Willow is no longer comfortable living with other animals. She can exist around dogs in public without issue, but she needs to be the only pet in her home. We know that’s a big ask. But here’s the reality—we are on a time crunch. Right now, we have exactly one foster home without other dogs, and that option is temporary. When that ends, we do not have a safe place for Willow. Boarding is not an option for us. She is a good dog. A safe dog. A kid-loving, loyal, well-trained dog who just needs the right environment to feel secure again. 🏡 Needs: • No other dogs, cats, or small animals • Secure fenced yard • A family who wants a true companion And respectfully—please, no advice on what we “should” do. We are already working with professionals, and resources are limited. What Willow needs right now is a home. She didn’t choose what happened to her. But someone can choose her now. 🐾 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/ neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipped prior to adoption. Our requirements are non-negotiable and include the following: All current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age, unless there is a documented medical exemption with veterinary confirmation. All current dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations. All current dogs must be on consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention. Past dogs listed on the application must also show a consecutive history of heartworm prevention. To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here: - https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog Please also take a moment to read our requirements located in the application. Please note: The dog you're applying for might already have a meet-and-greet scheduled, be on a trial with another family, or has been offered to another rescue within our network Don't worry though - we're always happy to help you find another great match if that happens! Our goal is to make sure every pup ends up in the best home for their needs (and yours too!).

Story
Time to introduce Happy Dancer aka Lainey! She is the queen of zoomies! When she's done zooming, she'll be right and ready for a belly rub. It took her a minute to get the hang of leash-walking, as she wanted to be the leader, but she's made great progress. She keeps her kennel as clean as you could ever ask a shelter pet to do. She's tied up all the loose ends and is now ready for her forever family. Please contact the shelter if you'd like more information on adopting.
