Hazel is a 5.5 year old husky/chihuahua mix, 38 lbs, spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated as of 5/8/2026. We've had her since she was 8 weeks old. Wisdom Panel: 32% Husky, 25% Chihuahua, 9% Shepherd, 6% Poodle, 4% Malamute. She's loyal and loving with her people, gets really excited for walks, and chills the rest of the time. Reserved with new people and skittish at first, but never aggressive.We're rehoming her because we have a toddler and Hazel has always been wary of small kids. On 5/8/2026 she nipped our 16 month old daughter once. We've got another baby on the way which is why we're looking to rehome her. She also resource guards food around other dogs. No history of aggression toward adults.Looking for an adult-only home (or kids 12+), no other dogs in her food space, with an owner who understands resource guarding. Full vet records and a written bite-history disclosure provided.

Kisseo is a gorgeous large `Shepsky` (German shepard/husky mix), ready to find his new home! Around 2 years old, Kisseo has a decent amount of energy to use on walks and he may have fun on other adventures such as hiking or running. He enjoys playing with toys in our yards, as well as spending time getting pets and treats from volunteers and staff. Kisseo may do well with another dog with a proper introduction, he can be rough and very vocal when playing which may intimidate some dogs. He is a sweet boy who will be a great addition to an active family! Call (805)781-4400 to make an appointment or walk in during our open kennel hours (Mon-Sat 1-5, Wed 1-7) to meet him today!
