Vicky is an amazing dog that loves outdoors. We were asked to take Vicky due to her previous owners needing to relocate. Unfortunately, they provided us with misinformation regarding her behavior towards cats. Vicky is extremely prey-driven and is extremely fixated on cats. She gets along well with dogs and loves to play with them. She would love to be in a space where she is outside with all the room to run and play.

One day in December we had a stray wander into our lives -- very pregnant and clearly in need of help. While she was wearing a collar, we had no luck in in locating her owner. In the early morning hours of January 17, 2026 (fittingly, a Saturday), she delivered seven healthy puppies -- 4 boys and 3 girls. She's not able to be spayed until 3 months postpartum, so we did schedule an appointment for that, and her shots, on April 14th. A Wisdom Panel DNA test was completed for Saturday and shows her breed mix to be: 55% Siberian Husky, 24% Rottweiler, 13% German Shepherd Dog, 5% Chow Chow, and 2% Alaskan Malamute, with a remaining 1% trace breed. Our goal is to place Saturday into a responsible, permanent home where her will be treated as a family member and where the energy, intelligence, and northern-breed traits will be understood and appreciated.
