Story

Fae is a husky that was dumped in front of the clinic my dad works at a few months -less than a year back. She was freshly spayed, and microchipped, so I was hopeful that she was not a dump situation. Unfortunately, I was wrong. We have looked and looked, even our vet did some tracking, and we could track that she was spayed in a mobile spay truck, but no owner info was able to be obtained. We posted and searched with no luck.We have held on to her, as we didn’t want her to end up a statistic at the shelter, but she is not doing good with my tiny chihuahuas or cat. She does do well either my shepherd. We have managed to keep them separated most of the time since we have had her, but this is not a feasible, long term solution, and really not a life for her or the chihuahuas to live. Vet puts her at about a year old, and we suspect she is pure breed Siberian Husky.

Story

One day in December we had a stray wander into our lives -- very pregnant and clearly in need of help. While she was wearing a collar, we had no luck in in locating her owner. In the early morning hours of January 17, 2026 (fittingly, a Saturday), she delivered seven healthy puppies -- 4 boys and 3 girls. She's recently been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped (on April 14th). A Wisdom Panel DNA test was completed for Saturday and shows her breed mix to be: 55% Siberian Husky, 24% Rottweiler, 13% German Shepherd Dog, 5% Chow Chow, and 2% Alaskan Malamute, with a remaining 1% trace breed. Our goal is to place Saturday into a responsible, permanent home where her will be treated as a family member and where the energy, intelligence, and northern-breed traits will be understood and appreciated.
