Story

One day in December we had a stray wander into our lives -- very pregnant and clearly in need of help.While she was wearing a collar, we had no luck in in locating her owner. In the early morning hours of January 17, 2026 (fittingly, a Saturday), she delivered seven healthy puppies -- 4 boys and 3 girls. She's recently been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, at which time she weighed in at 43 pounds (on April 14th).A Wisdom Panel DNA test was completed for Saturday and shows her breed mix to be: 55% Siberian Husky, 24% Rottweiler, 13% German Shepherd Dog, 5% Chow Chow, and 2% Alaskan Malamute, with a remaining 1% trace breed.Our goal is to place Saturday into a responsible, permanent home where her will be treated as a family member and where the energy, intelligence, and northern-breed traits will be understood and appreciated.
