Story
Meet Cleo, a beautiful 7-year-old Husky with stunning icy blue eyes and a gentle soul. This sweet girl has been waiting 158 days for someone to see just how special she is.Like many Huskies, Cleo loves to "talk," sing, and chat with her favorite people. Her sweet personality shines through in every conversation, and she's always happy to let you know how she's feeling! 🐺🎶Cleo is wonderful with children, kind with older adults, walks nicely on a leash, and is a great traveler—making her an easy companion for all of life's adventures. She recently completed heartworm treatment at the Caloosa Humane Society Veterinary Clinic and is now healthy and ready to find the loving home she deserves.Cleo shares an especially close bond with her sister, Mya. The two arrived at the shelter together and are still waiting for their forever family. If you're looking to double the love, they would be thrilled to stay together. 💕After more than five months in the shelter, Cleo is hoping this is the week someone falls in love with her beautiful eyes, sweet voice, and even sweeter heart.Come meet Cleo—and Mya, too. They can't wait to meet their forever family. ❤️

Story
Meet Mya, a beautiful 10-year-old Husky with soulful blue eyes and a gentle heart. After spending 158 days in the shelter, she's hoping this will be the week her forever family finds her.Mya is everything you could want in a companion—sweet, affectionate, and full of personality. Like a true Husky, she loves to "talk," sing, and let you know exactly how she's feeling. Her conversations are sure to bring a smile to your face every day! 🐺💙She is great with children and older adults, walks well on a leash, and travels beautifully. Mya is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and is looking forward to feeling her best as she prepares for the next chapter of her life.Mya came to the shelter with her daughter, Cleo, and the two share a special bond. While Mya is selective with other dogs and isn't suited for a home with cats, she would love nothing more than to stay with Cleo if the right family comes along.Senior dogs have so much love left to give, and Mya is no exception. She doesn't need perfection—just someone willing to give her the love, comfort, and security she's been waiting for.Could you be the one to give Mya the forever home she's dreamed of? ❤️

Story
🐾💙 FOUR YEARS IS FAR TOO LONG 💙🐾Meet Luke.Luke is a 6½-year-old Husky/Hound mix with the sweetest soul you’ll ever meet. While other dogs have come and gone, Luke has been waiting… and waiting… and waiting. Over FOUR years in a shelter.Despite the challenges life has handed him, Luke wakes up every day with a happy heart. He loves giving kisses, making friends, playing with other dogs, and soaking up every bit of love he can get. Sometimes his legs don’t quite cooperate and he may stumble over his own feet, but Luke never gives up. He simply gets back up and tries again—with a wagging tail and a smile that says, “I’ve got this.”What Luke needs most isn’t perfection. He needs compassion. He needs patience. He needs someone who sees past his neurological condition and sees the incredible dog underneath.A quiet home with a porch or lanai, a fenced yard to explore, and a family willing to love him exactly as he is would mean the world to him. Because after four years of shelter life, Luke deserves more than a kennel. He deserves a couch nearby, a yard to call his own, and a human who tells him every day that he’s finally home.If you’ve ever considered opening your heart to a special dog, please consider Luke.

Bronx we rescued when he was 2yrs old from Tri County Humane now he is 8yrs old. Very loveable, high energy when he is outside, knows commands, acts goofy at times loves other animals and kids. Loves to sit next to you, sleeps next to you on the floor, enjoys going for walks and is basically a big baby. He has never been in crate, loves fresh broccoli, cabbage any vegetables. I am looking for someone to love and care for Bronx like I did before my health went south.

Story
Meet the Lexington 12! This adorable litter of 12 made their way to Big Dog Ranch all the way from a shelter in Lexington, South Carolina. Sadly, they arrived without their mom, and no one knows exactly what happened to her. What we do know is that these pups were in need of care, comfort, and a second chance. Since arriving at the Ranch, they’ve received all the medical attention they needed and, most importantly, a whole lot of love. Our team has worked hard to show them the kindness and compassion people can offer, and these little ones have truly blossomed. Now happy, healthy, and full of puppy energy, the Lexington 12 are ready to find loving forever homes. They’re still working on their puppy skills, but with patience and love, each one is sure to grow into an amazing companion. Could one of them be the newest addition to your family?
