Story
Timber is about a 100 lb, sweet dog and is wonderful with people and loves to play and wrestle with other large dogs. Cats and other small dogs and animals are not safe around him. He likely killed a small 7 lb dog (no witnesses) and almost always chases cats. Because of this, I do not recommend he goes to a home with small children, he has never done anything to our children and walks away if agitated, however, because of his strength and energy, I do not think it is wise in our situation to keep him. Timber will be 5 years old on January 1st. Family members and friends own his parents and siblings. His dad is part Laila and was bred to chase bears up trees and so these dogs are great hiking buddies. We hate to get rid of our family dog, but we want to find him a wonderful home! If you are looking for dog to help keep your place safe from critters and who is a good companion, Timber is perfect.

Story
Siberian Husky Looking for a Loving, forever home for my beautiful 4-year-old male Siberian Husky. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and in excellent health. A rehoming fee applies to help ensure he finds a responsible and committed new family. He is energetic, playful, and thrives with attention and structure. He knows several basic commands, including sit, shake, and fetch, and he walks well on a leash. He warms up to new people fairly quickly and enjoys being engaged both mentally and physically. While he can get along with some large dogs, he tends to get jealous and is best placed as the only dog in the home. He is not suitable for households with small dogs, cats, or any other small animals due to a strong prey drive typical of the breed. His ideal home would be with an experienced dog owner who understands the needs of the Siberian Husky breed. He will do best in an active household with a secure yard, consistent routines, and no other pets.
