Story
Meet Catmandu (Cat-mon-doo), a stunning 9-year-old all-white Husky with a heart as big as his spirit. Though visually impaired, he navigates the world with confidence, using his sharp senses and sweet nature to connect with those around him. He left the shelter from a very young age and came back to us as a stray, but quickly proved to us he's just as loving, well-mannered, and smart as he was when he left as a puppy. Catmandu is a very smart boy and even knows his basic commands! Despite his age, he still has a playful spark and loves his treats. He’s looking for an affectionate home that understands the unique needs of a senior visually impaired dog—someone patient, kind, and respectful of his boundaries. He does well with men and women, but we are unsure how he does with other animals and children. If you’re ready to open your heart to a very special boy, and have the time, patience and space, then Cat is the man for you!

Story
Hi! I'm Jaxon. I'm about 8 years old and my Mom had to give me up. It was really hard on her cause she loved me. I cried some when she left but am learning there are nice people here too. This is my fierce look…Neat, huh! I'm faking it. I'm a happy, loving boy who is practicing to be a teddy bear. Sigh…yes...that is dirt on my nose. Yum!

Story
Meet Quota! This boy is the goofiest, happiest, and most loving dog who can't wait for a family of his own.  Quota has an estimated birthdate of 02/09/2022. He's a medium to large adult dog and weighs approximately 60lbs. Quota does excellent in his kennel for up to 8-10 hours, and has had no potty accidents on his way out to the yard. He is leash trained but does still pull at times.  Quota is not cat and small animal safe. He redirects somewhat quickly with a verbal correction or squirt bottle but has never had access to the cats other than through the kennel. If his new family continues to work with him, he could excel at dog sports and would enjoy bike rides and other out door activities.  Quota's ideal family would be one who includes him in the day to day tasks of life. He enjoys car rides, going for walks, and snuggling after a good bit of activity.  Quota does very well with other dogs and has a rowdy, physical play style best suited for dogs that like to rough house or dogs that are ok ignoring his play attempts.  Quota's adoption fee is $200. He comes home neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting Quota, please begin by submitting an application at www.murcismission.org. Thank you!  ##2423466##

Story
Wylie is a handsome mixed breed, weighing in at about 30 pounds and approximately 1.5 years old. This charming fellow was found running at large in Post Falls, and he’s now on the lookout for his forever home! Wylie’s personality shines through his love for people of all ages, including children, and he even gets along well with cats! He’s currently in training to address some dog aggression issues, and he’s made tremendous progress. However, Wylie’s playful nature can be a bit rough; most dogs find his play style a little too much, which is why he would thrive best as the only dog in the household. Wylie is already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, making him ready to join your family. Plus, to help him adjust and continue his training, anyone who adopts Wylie will receive four free training lessons with the Canine Community Center.  If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s eager to learn and grow, Wylie could be the perfect match for you! If you are interested in giving Wylie the forever home he deserves, please contact his current foster at: (208) 659-5221 ##2551828##
