Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This from the owner: We are looking to rehome our hound mix Maggie Mae. She's a very funny, sweet, loyal girl but would be better suited for a single dog home. This has been an extremely difficult conclusion for us to come to, but we feel it is best for the safety of our smaller/older dog, with whom she sometimes fights over resources. We want to find her a good home where she will be loved and cared for for the rest of her life. So if the below description seems like a good girl that would fit into your life or the life of someone you know, please share and DM me. To be sure she goes to a home that is serious about loving her we would ask a small rehoming fee of $150 dollars. We will include a bag of dog food, her dog bed, crate, ecollar, and some toys/other items to help ease the transition and bring some familiarity to her new home. Maggie is 2.5 years old and 65 pounds with one bright blue eye. She enjoys going on walks and would even make a great jogging or running partner for someone. She loves riding in the car, preferably with her head out the window, and watching dog TV. She's a big observer and loves to look out the window and observe what is going on outside. If you had land she would love to sit outside to sunbathe and observe, but won't be staying out too long if you're not with her. She prefers to be where her people are. She loves bones and chew toys but does not love to share them. While she does have energy that requires playing outside or going on walks, she also loves to snooze in her dog bed. She sleeps through the night no problem. She loves having her big ears and her belly rubbed, and you'll often see her sleeping on her back. She is crate trained, and we crate her when we leave the house. She is also house trained. She has had some ecollar training and is comfortable wearing one. She knows simple commands (sit, lay down, come, stay, off, and up) and could definitely do/learn more with someone who has the knowledge and desire to work with her. Shes very smart and listens pretty well. She would be a great addition to a home without another dog. She is very interested in cats and has never had any issues with ours.
