Story
He has been with me since he was 8 weeks old. Because I got him during Covid, he unfortunately wasn't able to get the socialization he needed as a puppy. As a result, he gets very excited and overstimulated when he sees other dogs. He is not aggressive, he simply gets overly playful. He's house trained, playful when you engage with him, and loves attention. I believe he would do best with someone who has experience with Huskies or other high-energy breeds and understands their needs. He does have a recurring skin allergy that flares up from time to time (once a year). I've never been able to identify the exact cause despite working with my vet to figure it our, so you should be aware this might require occasional management. My priority is finding him a safe, loving, and permanent home where he'll get the time, exercise, structure, and understanding he deserves.

Story
Requirements:- Requires a home with a confident and social dog.- Requires a home with no children under 16 years old.- Requires a home with no cats.Tapper is a handsome boy with a heart every bit as beautiful as his striking eyes. Seriously, one look into those gorgeous eyes and you'll understand why everyone falls for him. Beneath his stunning looks is a smart, playful, and deeply affectionate dog who forms strong bonds with the people he trusts. Once you earn his confidence, Tapper is a loyal companion who simply wants to be by your side.Tapper is fully house trained and has lovely leash manners, making him a wonderful walking companion. He is not a fan of kennels, but he can be trusted loose in the home when he has a confident canine friend to keep him company. Because change can make him feel a little uncertain, Tapper is looking for a patient family who will help him settle in at his own pace and continue building his confidence. He must go to a home with a confident medium or large dog who can show him the ropes, would do best with children aged 16 years or older, and is looking for a cat free home, as cats are simply a little too exciting for him to resist chasing.Tapper has so much love to give and blossoms when he feels safe and supported. He enjoys playing with his canine friends, spending time with his people, and using his clever mind to learn new things. While he may take a little time to adjust to new surroundings, every bit of patience invested in him is rewarded with unwavering loyalty and endless affection. If you are looking for a devoted best friend with movie star looks, a playful spirit, and a heart of gold, Tapper could be the perfect addition to your family. Apply today and let this beautiful boy show you just how special he truly is.PLEASE NOTE: To meet our adoptable dogs, please fill out an adoption application. Story
The Slavic Desserts litter has arrived, and they are serving up a batch of sweetness that is impossible to resist. These adorable pups are named after beloved Slavic treats, and just like their namesakes, each one has their own unique flavour. Babka is the perfect mix of clever, playful, and independent. Simply existing seems to make her special. She is one of those rare puppies who just seems to have life figured out and takes the world in stride.Like any young puppy, Babka is still learning all the important life skills. She is doing wonderfully with her kennel training and happily runs straight into her kennel when you say “kennel”, knowing treats are coming her way. She is also making great progress with house training. Babka is doing well walking on leash, though putting the leash on and heading out the front door can still feel a little scary for her and is something her future family will continue to help her build confidence with. Because she is still young, Babka has the potential to do well with cats and respectful children with proper introductions and clear boundaries to help her succeed. She can be about nervous so will do best in a home with another confident dog to help show her that the world is not such a scary place. Babka is incredibly intelligent and very motivated by tasty treats. She loves toys and makes sure every single one gets proper attention each day. When she is not busy playing with toys, she enjoys racing around the yard at top speed and playing with her foster sister. After a full day of adventures and games, Babka is more than happy to curl up beside you on the couch and enjoy some well deserved snuggles. If you are looking for a bright, playful puppy who is equal parts fun and cuddly, Babka might just be your perfect treat. Apply today before this sweet girl is scooped up.PLEASE NOTE: To meet our adoptable dogs, please fill out an adoption application. Story
Jasper just turned 7 years old. He's a male Husky mix with one beautiful blue eye. He weighs around 59 lbs. and is fully housetrained. For his breed, he's surprisingly mellow, not hyper at all, just easygoing and relaxed. He's a sweet, gentle giant with great manners who loves being close to his people. Jasper does well with people, kids, dogs and cats. He walks nicely on leash and excellent off leash, and knows basic commands like sit, stay, etc. He enjoys his walks, car rides and loves playing fetch with other dogs. Story
Moore’s goals in life are food and doing absolutely anything she can to look as cute as possible in order to get as many pats as she can in a single day. She can’t wait to be the best part of someone’s day! She’s done a lot of work on herself and has proven she’s a great student. Moore is excellent in her kennel, her house training is A+, and her leash manners are always improving. She’s spent her time in care doing plenty of self-reflection and growing as a dog. While her confidence was a little rocky at the start, she’s doing so much better now and will need a family who will continue helping her build on that progress. Moore has been known to make friends with both people and dogs, but she does need proper introductions. She hasn’t met many cats, but would do best in a home with dog-savvy cats and clear boundaries, or no cats at all. Tiny humans are quick and loud, which makes her really nervous, so she’s looking for a home with older children who are calmer and understand her boundaries.According to her foster family, once you get to know Moore, she’s the sweetest girl. She loves to snuggle and play, and she’s smart as a whip. It doesn’t take long for her to get comfortable and show her goofy, silly side. Taking a class together would be a great way to boost her confidence and strengthen her bond with her people. Her ideal day would be inspired by Roman emperors being fed grapes and fanned with giant leaves — except the grapes would be dog-friendly snacks, and the fanning would be endless pats and belly rubs. If you’re looking for a sweet girl who knows how to make you smile, apply to meet Moore.Requirements:Children 14 years old or olderDog-savvy cats or a no-cat home
