Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Healy is a young husky/shepherd mix. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and so ready to try out his puppy skills on a home of his own. He has been in foster care since he became a PAWS dog, his foster family has this to say: "Healy loves other dogs. He is nice to cats but does want to play and chase them. He doesn't chase chickens, afraid of goats, and he loves kids and attention. His newly acquired skills include sit, lay down, shake, most importantly he knows the word "no". He is in the midst of housetraining and will tell you when he needs to be let outside. He can stay in his kennel all night without accidents. He does not chew on things he shouldn't and LOVES a game of tug of war, along with fetch! He has been fine tuning recall and sometimes reminds his foster that he is part husky :). He tends to be quiet, only barking or howling when he alone or very excited." Healy is now available, lets get this boy his own forever! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 22, 2024, 8:36 pm

Story
Cute Daisy is a German Shepherd/Husky mix (we think). She was pulled from a high kill shelter and has been in foster care since until we could arrange transport up to Montana. Her foster family sent some great notes on her that we will share here! She is incredibly sweet, smiles constantly, and loves to snuggle when she slows down for a few minutes, LOL! She was friendly with their GSD mix (male) and they played constantly so she will do well with another dog in the family. They also stated that she was good with their 4-year-old child. She does seem to have some trauma in her past as she will sometimes submissively pee if she feels threatened. It's not often but was observed when we surprised her on accident. She will need some patience and trust building but will make a terrific family pet. She loves treats and will crate easily as we have trained her that this is a positive experience (treats!!!). She is not destructive but does have a lot of energy and will need a place to run some of that energy off or just take her for lots of hikes! Daisy is up to date on vaccines, has been microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $200. If interested in Daisy, please fill out an adoption application (link found on the TRACS homepage) and an adoption specialist will be in contact with you ASAP.

Story
Juni was saved from CA where she had been turned in with a Yorkie sibling. Another rescue picked up the Yorkie and left Juni behind. She was crushed to have lost her friend. Juni is a Shepherd with possibly a little husky mixed in. She is a nice girl but is struggling a little with being in a kennel again after what she experienced in CA and has been a little upset with other dogs being around. She is young - about 1 year of age - so does have the energy of a 1-year-old and will benefit from an active family to help her direct her energy and take her for interesting hikes. Juni is up to date on all vaccines, has been spayed and micro-chipped. This beautiful shepherd girl is available for $150. If interested in Juni, please submit an adoption application (link found on the homepage of the TRACS website) and an adoption specialist will be with you ASAP.

Story
Meet Jake, a senior dog with a lot of character! Jake is a quiet, dignified dog who likes to think of himself as a bit of a couch potato, but don't let that fool you. This independent pup is also full of life and loves to play, chase the ball, and go on walks. He's a friendly, gentle, and playful dog who loves getting kisses and is always up for an adventure - he's the perfect companion for someone who wants a brave and happy dog. He can be a bit funny at times and he's well-mannered, but he's not a huge fan of other dogs, has a high prey drive, and is a little old for playing too hard, so he may not be the best fit for a home with other pets or small animals. If you're looking for a loyal friend and a happy senior dog, Jake is the one for you!
