Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Jacoby, the sweet, shy, and mellow dog with a goofy side that shines brighter than his unique blue eye spot. We are told his mom is a husky and that little spot offers a glimpse into his past life. His owner was unable to care for him and surrendered him to our animal control. He was nervous and unsure of the noisy environment but began to recognize the faces/voices of the volunteers who hand out treats and quickly added those to his favorite friends list! Initially, he was fearful of the leash but has now learned that it usually brings something special.  He is adjusting well to life at the shelter and has become quite the curious fella. If you leave treats within his reach, he will investigate and feel absolutely no shame. He is also not a fan of baths but says mud puddles are ok! Jacoby is ready to bring joy and a touch of goofiness to a loving home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm disease. Cats/kittens are tested (and are negative) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.  Learn more about our Adoption Information here and fill out an application here.   November 1, 2025, 4:48 pm
