Timber was found as a very malnurished stray.  He is very sweet and gets along with other dogs. Some of our dogs are adopted very quickly.  If you are truly interested in a dog fill out an application ASAP.  If you take the time to email a question someone will already be ahead of you with a completed application.  You can find all the information we have about a particular cat/dog at the link below as well.  Then click the adopt button to fill out an application. To be pre approved fill out an application at the link below.  You are welcome to come in anytime we are open to meet the cats and dogs.  If you are preapproved you can adopt on the same day.  We are open Monday-Saturday 1-4.  Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.  https://arfok.org/pages/adoption Adoption fee is $150 for all dogs over 6 months old, $200 for large breed puppies under 6 months, $250 for small breed puppies and some pure breed dogs.  All adoptions include, spay/neuter, vaccines, a heartworm test, and a free 1 year membership to our 5 acre ARF Park.  For other dog questions please email ARFdogs74006@gmail.com We do adopt out of state, but the adopter must travel to ARF to meet the dog they are looking to adopt.  They must have an approved application before traveling to meet the dog.  We do allow small dogs that are eligible to fly in the cabin of a plane.  We DO NOT allow dogs to travel in the cargo area of the plane under any circumstances.  Any dog that is adopted can of course go by personal vehicle.  We do not allow dogs to be transported "pony express style" where they are passed from driver to driver.   ##2659685##

Juneau is active, talkative, playful, friendly and loves kids. He prefers to be the only pet in the home or slow introductions to other animals. He loves stuffies an squeakies. Juneau has had some training with positive reinforcement and is very treat motivated. He is leash trained, knows sit and comes when called. He needs a home with a big yard that he can run and play in. He loves pets and attention. He is a very sassy, but sweet boy.

Sonny and Cher are an amazing duo. These two are litter mates and survived being abandoned and near death with parvo. They were adopted back in 2017. We were so excited that they got to stay together well then seven years later they came back at no fault of their own. They are sweet, fun, playful.
