Story
Star is a bright, goofy, loyal pup with a whole universe of energy packed into her little body. She thrives on playtime and lights up the second she hears a squeaky ball—those are her absolute favorites. If you toss it, she’s already halfway to the catch. If you squeak it, she’s your shadow. She’s happiest when she’s included. She bonds deeply with her people, follows routines well, and loves being part of the daily flow—morning, noon, or night. If you’re looking for a dog who actually wants to do life with you, she’s that kind of girl. Star does best with: • Someone who enjoys an active dog • Regular play sessions to let her energy out • A home that appreciates a loyal companion who wants to be right by your side She’s affectionate, bright, and eager to please. Give her structure, play, and love, and she’ll give you loyalty straight from the heart.

Story
I live in ranch country in Deep South Texas where people dump dogs on the roads. The ranch hand found Rosey and her 3 littermates on the road when they were about 4 weeks old. He kept one & my friend took one. I have loved & cared for Rosey & Pearl (the 2 remaining girls) ever since but cannot keep them due to my work-related travel schedule. They LOVE playing in the water. During the day when I am not around, they are in an escape-proof large yard with a small stock tank filled with water. They throw water everywhere & run through the mud they make. Their coats are dense & healthy so it takes a long time for them to dry. They sleep in their crates at night. They play roughly with each other but are sweet & gentle with me. Of the two, Rosey is more reserved but very attached to me. She sits on my feet & wants me to cuddle her. Pearl is more outgoing & learns quickly. I could keep them but they would have to be boarded for several months every year. That’s not fair to them!
