Despite the Brucellosis, Shiro is a joy to spend time with, is affectionate with people, and rides nicely in the car. Because Phantom was displaced during Hurricane Harvey, his history prior to coming to Best Friends is unknown. However, he has enjoyed many playgroups with other dogs here, so he has the potential to live with other dogs. At home, Abby settles in well and enjoys indoor comforts, but she’ll need a very secure fence to keep her safe from the call of the wild. Hilo is the biggest, fluffiest, love machine out there! It may take you a few bribes (treats) to win over his whole heart, but it doesn't take much. Hilo enjoys playing with other dogs, so much so that he will start to do his Husky Howl to show how much of a good time he's having. To be fair, his Husky Howl isn't only reserved for playing with dogs but hey, he's just a happy guy! Hilo has a few little quirks but he is incredibly smart and has mastered a lot of commands that his trainer will pass along to his adopter. Calling all Husky lovers! This girl walks the Husky walk and talks the talk! Nina is a total smarty pants and can't wait to show you all of her tricks. She is incredibly smart and loves to train and learn new things. As long as there is a treat reward involved, Nina is ready to show off! She is very food motivated and really enjoys her time with her people, especially when there is a hose involved. Nina's favorite past time here is filling the pools so she can chase the water. She also enjoys romping around the yard with her doggy friends. This girl is a hoot, she will always keep you on your toes and wanting to explore and learn. She does also enjoy her down time when it is time for a little rest. She is full of great personality, and stunning at that. You won't regret the time spent meeting Nina!
