Dakota has the sweetest heart and the kindest eyes to match. He is still learning some basic manners, but overall, he is such a great companion already. He is a bit shy at times so new experiences take some patience but he is gaining confidence day by day. He has loved everyone that he has met thus far and enjoys going on walks. He CANNOT live in a home with kittens/cats but he loves to make new friends and play with other dogs in our play yard. Have you ever wanted to be able to talk to your dog? He is a very talkative dog at times so his future family would have to be okay with the occasional husky howl. Huskies are known for their talkative nature and using vocalizations to communicate and his husky side is not afraid to make an appearance when needed. But don't let that scare you away! He also loves to play with squeaky toys, play tug, or even just run around like a goof to get some puppy energy out. As long as he is getting some love and belly rubs he is happy, quiet, and quite content. My boss gave Lulu to me as a Christmas gift since his Husky had a litter. I couldn't resist, my family and I just moved to a new 1 acre property and thought I could make it work. Lulu is a very active pup with one blue eye and one brown eye. She was born 2nd week of November in 2022 so she's only about 1.5 years old. Very loving dog that just wants to play all the time, even knows a few tricks thanks to my brother (sit, shake, lay, roll, stay). Unfortunately, work has been keeping me busy (6-7 days a week, 10 - 14hr days) and feel bad that I don't spend enough time with her. I would feel a lot better knowing she goes to a home where she could get more attention and maybe a playmate. She got out of our fenced yard back in November 2023 and got hit by a car that knocked her hip out of place. I paid for the hip surgery (FOH) with the help of my family and have been working with her to get her back up and going. She can walk and run normally now after 4 months of physical therapy.

I love walks, to chase balls, to sit down with a bone, and to play tag, but when I'm not doing any of those things, I'm lying down by the window for some sun and breeze. I love people so much -- I'm always at coffee shops, bars and restaurants, saying hi to everyone and shedding all over the floor as they pet me. At this point, all the baristas, waiters, and bartenders know my name!  Like you, I like some dogs more than others. But I love playing with my dog friends, I'm happier with them and they calm me down when my people have to leave me home.  I walk great on a leash, and always listen when I'm told to "sit, down, stay, come, leave it, or take it"! Why I am looking for a new home Roku is truly the best boy, he just has some separation anxiety which has been hard to manage since I live alone and am now required to go into work & rehearsals most days of the week.
