Story
Meet Malu! Malu is a handsome, easygoing 2-year-old boy looking for a calm and understanding home. He’s not overly demanding and doesn’t seek constant attention, but he does enjoy gentle pets and affection on his own terms. He’s the perfect balance of independent and loving. Malu may be dog tolerant he may or may not click with other dogs, but he’s open to meeting new canine friends to see if it’s a good match. With proper introductions, he could potentially enjoy the right companion. This smart boy has been working hard on his separation anxiety and making great progress. He’s crate trained, house trained, and has learned new commands thanks to his time in the Caged to Saved Canine Training Program. Malu is eager to keep learning and would do well with continued structure and routine in his new home. If you’re looking for a grounded, low-maintenance dog who appreciates both companionship and personal space, Malu could be the perfect fit. He’s ready to meet his forever family!

Story
Meet Mazee! This gorgeous girl is the epitome of husky (minus the singing). She is particular and head strong, loves to stay outside all day and play keep away, and sees a fence as a challenge, not a barrier. She takes a second to trust, but once she picks her person you will not be able to get rid of her. She enjoys a non-pushy dog friend and is happy to join the pack. Mazee doesn't care too much for treats, but once you earn her trust she is most rewarded with a good butt scratch. Mazee has completed basic obedience training. So, when she wants to listen, she knowns quite a few cues and behaviors. She can be a bit sensitive to some handling (vet = enemy #1), and would do better with older kids that can respect when she needs some space. If a smart, independent, but also needy, husky is what you are missing from your family, come meet Mazee today!

Story
Meet Finn — Goofy, Loyal, and Full of Personality Finn is a one-of-a-kind Husky mix with a heart as big as his personality. Diagnosed with Wobbler’s Syndrome, he walks with a slightly wobbly gait — which only makes him more endearing — and has a funny, expressive way of moving through life. This boy is equal parts silly, sweet, dramatic, and loyal. If you’re looking for a dog who will make you laugh every single day, Finn might be your guy. He’s a full-time companion and a part-time comedian. He talks (a lot), makes a full production out of bedtime (complete with towel-rolling and bed-making), and will gently swat you with his paw if you’re not giving him enough attention. He’s a towel fanatic, a food thief, a cuddle bug, and a master of dramatic zoomies. Finn’s Ideal Home: Finn needs a home that will embrace his quirks and give him the time he needs to settle in. He adjusts slowly — often taking several weeks to truly recognize and trust his people and surroundings. Once he does, though, he bonds deeply and becomes your devoted, hilarious shadow. Preferably an only pet. Finn can live with other dogs, but he’s had occasional scuffles (usually over space or food). He chases cats when they move, which keeps them stressed — he won’t hurt them, but it’s not ideal for them. Adults or families with older kids. He loves children, but his big, excited energy could easily knock over smaller ones. House preferred over apartment. Finn is fairly lazy most of the day, but he reacts loudly to nighttime noises like trains or coyotes. He’s not an escape artist, but he’s vocal and sensitive to sound. An experienced, patient owner. Someone who understands decompression, doesn’t expect instant perfection, and can manage a few ongoing quirks (like occasional indoor peeing or counter surfing). Daily Life: Finn is a laid-back guy for most of the day, but he has two playful energy bursts — around 3 PM and 7 PM — and happily joins in on a daily 2–3 mile run. While he enjoys activity, he doesn't require a high-energy lifestyle to be content.. Lazy Sundays are his jam. He sleeps on the bed (with flair) and insists on being part of the daily routine — especially if towels are involved Finn isn't for everyone — but for the right person or family, he’s going to be the dog of a lifetime. If you're looking for a loyal companion with tons of personality, a big goofy heart, and a few quirks that make him uniquely lovable, Finn just might be your new best friend. Apply to meet him, today! **Finn's adoption fee has been sponsored in full by a generous donor in memory of their beloved dog, Jaida.**
