BARC Rescue welcomes Stills to rescue. Stills is the smallest and is barely 5 pounds at 10 weeks so it is fair to say she is small and takes completely after the small breed pet in the mix. My educated guess is Jack Russell Terrier. She has the size, the shape, and the personality of the Jack Russell. Every other gene must have gotten washed away. She is very social and precious. I think her small size is cute as well. She is a survivor and healthy. She just needs a family now. She is vetted , chipped and rescue pays for spay when old enough. Baxley absolutely loves water that he can swim, jump, and splash around in. He’s a boy that’s all about the rough and tumble you’d expect out of a puppy, but also has the sweet innocence puppies have. He’d do great in pretty much any home as long as they’re willing to give him plenty of love, comfy beds, and water to splash in.

Sawyer went from a scared boy to one of the most loving and outgoing dogs at the rescue. He loves to meet new people, he's getting used to being picked up, and loves to plays with the other dogs and puppies at the rescue. He greets volunteers when they come help out at the rescue and seeks attention from others. He has a strong fear of leashes and we think someone was not so nice to him with a leash. so we are slowly working on introducing him to one in hopes he will become leash trained and lose that fear. He is kennel and house trained, has been introduced to cats, and has really turned out to be an amazing boy. We only recommend children over 5 because he does like to jump when he's excited to see you. If you're interested in this pint sized little guy that loves attention and is playful, Sawyer is your guy! And you can't miss those adorably big years!

Story
He is very high energy and loves activity, and due to some major life changes and scheduling, I don't have the time to keep him occupied. Because of this, he has been getting bored at home, and has been digging under and/or breaking boards in my fence to roam the neighborhood. Due to my schedule I am not always here to retrieve him when he escapes. I use a dog door so he and the other dogs can access the back yard freely, but if I lock them in the house, they get destructive. I have to give them access outside to keep everything inside intact, and if Finnegan stays outside, he escapes. His last escape resulted in half (4) of a litter of puppies following him and not returning. Finnegan is getting problematic, so I need anyone with the time for an energetic and active dog to take him in.
