Posted July 2026 Meet Gypsie! This girl has every reason not to trust humans. Yet somehow, she does. She was one of three young dogs abandoned in a public park, left behind in the public bathroom. Someone opened the door and they all ran out. It took days to catch them all and for them to find safety with our southern rescue partners. We honestly can't imagine why anyone would let this beautiful girl go. She's such a sweetheart! Gypsie is estimated to be around 9 months to a year old with our best guess for her breed as possibly a Jack Russel Terrier mix, she weighs under 30 pounds, so she's a wonderfully petite size and likely won't get much bigger. She's the perfect blend of playful adventure buddy and affectionate cuddle bug. She absolutely LOVES giving kisses and thinks people are pretty wonderful once she gets to know them. She may greet new visitors with a few alert barks, but a little sweet talk and a few gentle pets are usually all it takes before she's made a new best friend. If you have a tennis ball, you've already won her heart. She loves to chase it! Bringing it back? Well... she's still deciding if that's part of the game... Sometimes! Gypsie already knows "sit", is highly motivated by meaty treats, and is doing a great job learning the rules of living in a home. Like many young dogs, she enjoys chewing, so keeping socks and other tempting treasures picked up will make everyone happier. She's great with dogs of all sizes and hasn't been tested with cats yet. She's curious, adventurous, and always interested in exploring the world around her. Because she's athletic and may be capable of climbing a chain-link fence, she'll need a secure environment while she's settling in. Once she understands she's finally home, we believe she'll simply want to be where her family is. And speaking of family... Gypsie has one very important request: Please let her sleep in bed with you. Nothing makes this girl happier than curling up beside her favorite person after a day of playing and exploring. She has so much love to give and wants nothing more than to belong to someone who will never leave her behind again. ​​ If you are interested in meeting Gypsie or any of our cuties, please fill out the adoption application. Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.

Ruben is a 1.5 year old mixed breed of terrier lineage. He is affectionate, housetrained/cratetrained, good on a leash, LOVES to play fetch - drops it perfectly at your feet every time. He is intelligent and athletic. He is entertaining and loving. He will alert bark to unfamiliar noises and even saved his canine foster brother from being accidentally left in the summer yard after night time! He will give you his heart and in return he wants belly rubs, snuggle time, walks, fetch time!, and to be treated with only kindness toward him and some understanding and respect for his journey toward safety. Ruben was a dumped dog in rural MS. He is now in foster care in Gorham, Maine. Come meet him.

Transport is an additional $185 A few key notes about our Rescue… 1. All of our pets start their journey in Memphis Tennessee. 2. No monies exchange hands until the pet has arrived 3. Once adopted, our pets can be transported to Denver, Colorado, the Midwest and all of the north eastern states. 4. We have a Facebook page and an Instagram page. You are welcome to visit to see some of our newly adoptive families. 5. We have been rescuing and transporting pets for 15 years. 6. Our pets do not travel until they have been adopted. We do not have holding facilities in other parts of the United States for meet and greet purposes.
